Inexcusable that there was only a password protecting this much sensitive data.
2FA, Smart Card… we have so many tools available now, there really is no excuse for such a privileged user to only use a password to authenticate. Bank clients themselves need a 2FA for on-line banking, shouldn’t employees?
All these customers are now at higher risk of phishing attacks.
